Students host after-school science program

HAYS, Kan. – Students from the Fort Hays State University College of Education recently hosted an after-school science program at O’Loughlin Elementary School.
Students and Dr. Janet Stramel, associate professor of teacher education, taught kindergarteners through fifth-graders about science and led them in experiments.
Students are listed alphabetically with majors and hometowns.
Emalee Ratliff, Holcomb junior, is majoring in biology education.
Perla Camacho-Rosales, Liberal junior, is majoring in mathematics education.
Katie Ellegood, Hutchinson senior, is majoring in biology education.
Breanna Meier, Lincoln junior, is majoring in biology education.
Raquel Tomsic, Goodland junior, is majoring in biology education.
Chelsea Zimmerman, Hays senior, is majoring in mathematics education.
