HAYS, Kan. – The Sternberg Museum of Natural History will celebrate 20 years of Pokémon on Saturday, April 14.

The fun begins at 10 a.m. with six different interactive tables to choose from. Participants can explore the different animals on which the Pokémon characters are based and the evolutionary history of those animals. Activities also include the chance to explore the background of each species, both alive and inside the game.

The museum asks that participants bring their phones, trading cards and Nintendo 3DS systems for the chance to play and compete in games together.

Players can earn the Sternberg Museum gym badge and catch everything in the Pokémon scavenger hunt.
