FHSU Social Work joins GCCC centennial parade

HAYS, Kan. – Faculty from Fort Hays State University’s Department of Social Work and Victor E. Tiger participated in Garden City Community College’s centennial celebration parade in September.
Parade participants included: Dr. Tim Davis, department chair and professor; Rhonda Weimer, BSW program director and assistant professor; Kendal Carswell, field director and assistant professor; Rekala Tuxhorn, cohort coordinator and instructor; and Victor E. Tiger.
Faculty and Victor E Tiger handed out candy and FHSU items. Community members especially enjoyed Victor E Tiger’s presence at the parade and other celebration events.
The department also was a sponsor in a special edition magazine to celebrate the anniversary.
