HAYS, Kan. – Fort Hays State University’s Winter Bands Concert has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 22.

Music and Theatre Programs' Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Winds will perform at 7:30 p.m. in the Beach/Schmidt Performing Arts Center in Sheridan Hall. The concert was originally scheduled for March 10 but was postponed because of inclement weather.

The concert will feature special guest soloist Dr. Ryan Pearson on the marimba, as well as the music of the late Dr. Jeff Jordan. Jordan, a long-time FHSU professor who served for nearly 20 years as the university’s director of bands, died earlier this year from a rare form of leukemia.
