FHSU to announce renovation grant for Forsyth Library

HAYS, Kan. - U.S. Sen. Jerry Moran will join the Fort Hays State University and Hays communities for a press conference on June 10. Details on a new federal grant for renovation to FHSU’s Forsyth Library will be revealed.
The press conference is set for 5 p.m. on the library's first floor.
Forsyth Library is a vital part of FHSU – past and present. The grant-funded renovations planned will be among the most extensive in the history of the building.
The facility opened in 1967, and its three floors have been remodeled over the years to accommodate new departments and services. It currently houses the Writing Center, the Learning Commons, the Center for Ethnic Studies, the Honors College, the Tiger Food Exchange, Makerspace, and the various library departments.
