HAYS, Kan - Fort Hays State University will host a press conference to announce the awarding of federal grants to help the university expand the number of highly-trained nursing professionals serving in rural Kansas. 

U.S. Sen. Jerry Moran will join representatives from the FHSU Department of Nursing to share details on two significant grant awards from the Health Resources and Services Administration. 

The press conference will be held in the Memorial Union’s Sunset Atrium on the Fort Hays State University campus at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.
