HAYS, Kan. – FHSU President Emeritus Dr. Ed Hammond and his wife Mary will announce a major gift to Fort Hays State University this Friday, March 1. The event will take place at 10:30 a.m. in the Memorial Union’s Peter Werth Black and Gold Room. Attendees will hear more about the Hammonds’ plans to leave their legacy at FHSU.  

The public is welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be served.
