FHSU’s next Science Café March 18

HAYS, Kan. – Fort Hays State University’s next Science Café will be held on Monday, March 18.
This month’s presentation, “Snakes in jars: Using museum specimens to discover new species and test evolution,” is sponsored by FHSU’s Science and Mathematics Education Institute (SMEI). The event begins at 7 p.m. at The Venue in Thirsty’s Brew Pub & Grill, 2704 Vine.
Dr. Jackson Roberts, Zoology Collections Manager, Sternberg Museum of Natural History, will discuss how scientists use the research collections of the Sternberg Museum (and other museums) to investigate a diversity of questions, including those related to conservation, evolution, and even species discovery.
