HAYS, Kan. - The Kansas Small Business Development Center is hosting a Business Resiliency Bootcamp on March 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Fort Hays State University Memorial Union Black and Gold Room.
The bootcamp is geared toward business owners and managers who aim to make their businesses more successful, sustainable, and profitable. Featuring three workshops, the bootcamp will target strategies for financial management, thrifty marketing and using AI tools.
SBDC’s Business Resiliency Bootcamps are made possible through a grant from the U.S. SBA to assist businesses in rural communities in response to the emergency drought proclamation for counties in Kansas.
“Resiliency, sustainability, adaptability, innovation, and proactive management are important attributes for many businesses,” said Laurie Pieper, assistant state director of Kansas SBDC. “And they are especially important for rural businesses in communities facing economic stress due to drought.”
Instructors for the bootcamp include Tracy Jepson, Kantex Financial; Jeremy Poling, Top Fuel Digital; and Stoni Beauchamp, Ai-Dapt Academy. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
