HAYS, Kan. – Each year, Fort Hays State’s Robbins College of Business and Entrepreneurship (RCOBE) recognizes an outstanding faculty member from its four academic departments.

Faculty of the Year honorees for 2023-2024 include: 

Dr. Emily Breit, Department of Economics, Finance and Accounting 
Dr. Rachel Dolechek, Department of Applied Business Studies 
Dr. Anthony Gabel, Department of Management 
Mr. Stephen Schleicher, Department of Informatics 

The selection process is led by the Robbins Ambassador students each year and includes nominations from business students, surveys, and interviews with finalists. The 2023-2024 Robbins Ambassador students were Nathaniel Egan and Braden Schulte.

"I am incredibly grateful for my professors at Fort Hays State University for not only providing top-tier education but for the real-world experience,” Braden said. “At a smaller school like FHSU, the professors genuinely care about you beyond the classroom and go the extra mile to offer advice on internships, prospective jobs, and life in general."
