FHSU’s first fall Science Café set for Oct. 7

HAYS, Kan. – Fort Hays State University’s first Science Café for this semester is set for Monday, Oct. 7.
The monthly presentation, The “Watersmart” Landscape – Fall Edition, is sponsored by FHSU’s Science and Mathematics Education Institute (SMEI) and will begin at 7 p.m. at The Venue in Thirsty’s Brew Pub & Grill, 2704 Vine.
Ms. Holly Dickman, Water Conservation Specialist for the City of Hays, will give tips about saving water outside of the traditional growing season. Learn about simple yet often overlooked tips to create a more water-efficient and drought-tolerant landscape going into fall and winter.
