New Undergraduate Student Next Steps

Have you applied for admission? If you've been admitted, here is what's next for you!

  1. Follow the steps on our New Student Information page to access your student accounts.

  2. Explore scholarship opportunities and file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) (optional).

  3. Provide the Registrar’s Office with official documents if needed. This will assist in the registration process.

    • High school or college transcripts
    • ACT/SAT scores
    • AP/IB course records with scores

  4. Regularly monitor your FHSU Gmail to be notified of action items for completion in Workday (the FHSU student portal). 

    • Your financial aid action items will appear in Workday after submitting your FAFSA as well as your award offer to accept your awards
    • Receive instructions for scheduling an academic advising meeting to register for classes

  5. RSVP for New Student Orientation. 

  6. Review important dates and deadlines and log in to Workday to make payment arrangements.

  7. Order course materials.
