Third Party Access in Workday
Workday Third Party Access allows students to give another individual (such as a parent) permission to view information or perform tasks on their behalf, such as the ability to view and pay a bill. To designate a third party, the student must complete a two-part process:
- First: The student must add the individual as a "Friends and Family" contact in Workday (FHSU's student portal), designate that contact as a Third Party User, and enter an email address for that individual. The email address is required in order for FHSU to send instructions and account information to the Third Party User. If an email address was omitted for a Third Party User, the student will receive an email with instructions for entering the missing email address.
- Second: The student must tell Workday what type of access (permissions) to grant to that individual. The student can change or remove that access at any time.
Students can grant access for the following offices/activities:
- Student Fiscal Services (Make a Payment, View Account Activity, View Student Statement)
- Financial Assistance Office (View Financial Aid Package)
- Registrar's Office (View Student Grades, View Current Classes)
NOTE: Third Party permissions for Undergraduate Academic Standing is managed outside of Workday. Instructions are available in the Student Resources section, below.

PARENT/THIRD PARTY RESOURCES:
After a student designates you as a Third Party User, you will receive two emails with login credentials and a link to your Third Party Access account. Please be sure to save your username and bookmark the login page - it is a different page than where your student logs in!
