The Bachelor of Social Work program at Fort Hays State University provides students with the knowledge and skills to become generalist social work practitioners. During the spring semester of their senior year, students engage in an intensive practicum
experience, dedicating approximately 24 hours per week to hands-on learning in various social service agencies. The expertise spans 400 hours, providing students ample opportunities to interact with diverse populations and gain real-life experience.
