RCOBE Experience: Business Student for a Day
The Fort Hays State University Admissions Office, in partnership with the Robbins College of Business and Entrepreneurship (RCOBE), is hosting the first annual RCOBE Experience: Business Student for a Day on campus on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025, from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.
This event is free and will include lunch. It is open to high school students (sophomores, juniors, and seniors) and transfer students interested in careers in business.
The four departments within RCOBE are the Department of Applied Business Studies, the Department of Economics, Finance, and Accounting, the Department of Informatics, and the Department of Management. Each of these departments offer challenging and exciting degree programs. These programs prepare students for careers through classroom practices as well as critical real-world experiences. There are a multitude of potential career paths for students!
Students will:
- Participate in fun and engaging activities that introduce students to the business world.
- Learn about academic, career, and other unique educational opportunities with the programs.
- Speak with faculty, staff, and students in each program.
- Have an opportunity to win scholarships.
- Visit with representatives of the Admissions Office to learn more about FHSU.

🅿️ Parking passes are NOT required for the day. Guests may park in any campus parking lot or open space (except handicapped). A bus lane will run southbound on the east side of Sheridan Hall, and buses may park at Gross Memorial Coliseum.📍View our virtual map or download a campus map to help you find your way.
Groups are welcome! To enhance your experience, please have each attendee complete the sign-up form. We ask that everyone selects "0 guests," we kindly request that sponsors designate one student to indicate the number of sponsors or teachers attending with your group.
