Will Burns became the Director for Early College Programs (KAMS/AMS) in 2020. He previously served as the Assistant Director of Student Services and Academic Advising for the Kansas Academy of Mathematics and Science (KAMS) from 2014-2015 and from 2017-2019. Will received both his Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education and Masters of Science in School Counseling from Fort Hays State University. Will resides in Hays with his wife, Renee, and their two sons.
Will is a member of the National Consortium of Secondary STEM Schools (NCSSS), the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA), the American School Counselor Association (ASCA), and the Kansas School Counseling Association (KSCA).
Sherri Matlock

Sherri Matlock became the Assistant Director for Early College Programs (KAMS/AMS) in June of 2018. Sherri received her B.A. in Communication from Fort Hays State University. She then went on to receive her Master of Science in Counseling, also from Fort Hays State University, in 1990. Before coming to AMS, Sherri was a school counselor at Bonner Springs High School and Hays High School. She resides in Hays, with her husband, Johnny. They have two daughters and two grandchildren.
Sherri is a member of the Kansas Association for the Gifted, Talented, and Creative (KGTC), the National Association of Personnel Administrators (NASPA), the National Consortium of Secondary STEM Schools (NCSSS), the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) and Phi Kappa Phi.
Jodi Hill

Jodi Hill became the Interim Assistant Director for Early College Programs (KAMS/AMS) in July 2019. Jodi received her B.A. in Sociology and M.S. in Education from Fort Hays State University. She then went on to teach for FHSU in China for many years before returning back to Hays in order to continue work on a M.S. in Counseling from Fort Hays State University.
Jodi is a member of the National Association of Personnel Administrators (NASPA), the National Consortium of Secondary STEM Schools (NCSSS), the American School Counselor Association (ASCA), and the Kansas School Counseling Association (KSCA).
Ann Noble

Ann Noble became the Financial Administrator for the Kansas Academy of Mathematics and Science in 2008. She received her B.A. in Accounting in 2005 from Fort Hays State University. Prior to that time, Ann worked in the Agriculture Department and the College of Education and Technology at Fort Hays State University. She resides in Hays with her husband, Warren, and has three adult children and four grandchildren.
Ann is the Treasurer for the Kansas State Science and Engineering Fair (KSSEF) Board, a member of the Kansas Association for the Gifted, Talented, and Creative (KGTC), the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA), and the National Consortium of Secondary STEM Schools (NCSSS). She is also the Financial Administrator of the Science and Mathematics Education Institute (SMEI).

Abby Anderson became the Kansas Academy of Mathematics and Science Coordinator for Marketing and Recruitment in August of 2017. Abby received her Bachelor's of Science in Journalism: Mass Communications from the University of Kansas and has worked in higher education and recruitment for almost seven years. Abby resides in Hays with her husband, Robert.
Abby is a member of the National Consortium of Secondary STEM Schools (NCSSS) and the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA).
Amanda Brown

Amanda Brown, LCPC, became the KAMS/AMS Personal Counselor in November of 2017. Amanda received her B.G.S in Child Development and Human Services in 2013 from Fort Hays State University. She then went on to receive her M.S. in Mental Health Counseling, also from Fort Hays State University, in 2015. Amanda resides in Hays with her husband, Chad, and two children.
Amanda is a member of the National Consortium of Secondary STEM Schools (NCSSS), the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA), American Counseling Association (ACA) and the American College Counseling Association (ACCA).

Chrisy Crough became the KAMS/AMS Administrative Specialist in September 2019. Chrisy attained her Bachelor's degree in Health & Human Performance from Fort Hays State University in 2004 and previously worked for the FHSU Admissions Office and Financial Aid Office. Chrisy resides in Hays with her husband, Tony, and three children.
