Designed for students interested in art education, art history, ceramics, drawing, graphic design, interior design, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, or studio art.
Artful Minds is for any Art and Design major who is interested in connecting with like-minded artists and designers in order to broaden one’s artistic experience. You will delve into the world of art and design beyond the classroom through creative activities and discussions.

Fall Courses:
1. UNIV 101 Freshman Seminar – Fulfills a University requirement
2. ART 103 Basic Design – Fulfills an Art and Design degree requirement
Spring Courses:
1. ART 201 Survey of Art History I – Fulfills an Art and Design degree requirement
Signature Activity
Participation in a day trip to regional art galleries and architectural sites.
Other Activities
Attending fall, winter, and spring Hays Arts Council Gallery Walks; interview working professional artists and designers; and participation in community service opportunities.

To access an application for a learning community, complete the housing application by logging into your myFHSU worklet in Workday account. Spots are limited and fill quickly.
