Concentration in Sustainability
The Bachelor of General Studies (BGS) Sustainability Concentration is a four-year liberal arts degree which provides students with an innovative curriculum that focuses on the multi-disciplinary study of Sustainability. The primary purpose of this degree program is to blend the traditional outcomes of a general education with a specific Sustainability concentration.
Sustainability applies to many disciplines- sustainable agriculture, social art, conservation and environmental studies, sustainable economies, social entrepreneurship, politics, and renewable energy- to name a few. This degree will help prepare you for a sustainability- related career or graduate school program while providing maximum academic flexibility.
