  • Study in great facilities and get to work on state of the art instrumentation
  • Learn by doing, with our hands-on philosophy of teaching
  • Enjoy one-on-one research mentoring with full-time faculty
  • Do ground-breaking research
  • Compete for research awards, and go to national and international meetings
  • Receive tremendous training in pre-professional tracks like Pre-Med, Pre-Pysical Therapy, Pre-Veterinary Medicine, and similar health fields
  • Become graduates who get great jobs in the private sector, education, or government, or get accepted to graduate and medical schools

Our faculty are diverse, nationally- and internationally-known researchers who love to teach. You'll interact with them every week in the lab, on field trips, and through independent study that incorporates cutting-edge content and traditional concepts.

Even as early as your first year, you can choose to participate in a research project or independent study with a full-time professor, who will help you present your research at a professional meeting or publish your study in a scientific journal. These research projects usually receive financial support for research materials and travel to meetings.
