Your goal is to successfully complete your college experience. Our goal is to help you get and stay healthy throughout that experience.
Services We Offer
- Treatment of minor illnesses (sore throat, cold, flu, respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, stomach ailments, diarrhea, etc.)
- Treatment of minor injuries (small cuts, scrapes, strains, or sprains)
- Treatment for skin conditions such as acne, warts, or rashes
- Help with diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, ulcers, or allergies if you have already received care at your primary doctor for that problem
- Women's health services including pap smears, breast exams, contraceptive counseling and birth control, and general health consultations
- Pregnancy testing, counseling, and/or referrals
- Men's health services including testicular exams, prostate exams, and evaluation of lesions or lumps
- Information related to the practice of safer sex and contraceptives to match your lifestyle
- Confidential testing and treatment of sexually transmitted infections
- HIV screening and referrals
- Administration of routine immunizations, allergy injections, and medications
- Lab tests
- Blood pressure checks
- Physical examinations required for a job, school, or participation in sports
- Medication management for mild to moderate anxiety and depression
- Referral assistance for help with anxiety, depression, drug and alcohol issues, eating disorders, etc.
- Help with diet and nutrition
- Referrals for services not provided through Health and Wellness Services
- Presentations and outreach clinics at other locations on campus
Services We Are Unable to Offer
- Pediatric care (patients under the age of 16)
- Care for pregnant women
- Dental services
- Eye examinations for glasses
- Imaging services like X-ray and ultrasound
- Medical management of chronic illness or disease such as diabetes, heart disease, cancer, arthritis, multiple sclerosis, or severe mental health problems (bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, etc.)
- Care for your children or advice about your children
- Emergency care
- Prescriptions for ADHD medications
