New Faculty Orientation and Development

On-campus New Faculty Orientation allows new faculty a chance to meet colleagues–both new and established– as well as learn about scholarship and service opportunities, University resources, and the Hays campus. New faculty are also provided a Blackboard shell of persistent resources
Biannual Professional Development Days
Concurrent workshops on relevant topics in higher education, opportunities to network with other faculty and staff, and panel discussions on best practices in pedagogy, research, and service to the profession.
Online Asynchronous Training Courses
Curatr courses on a growing list of current pedagogical topics, and Blackboard courses to familiarize beginning adjuncts with basic information needed to organize and facilitate courses at FHSU successfully.
