Course Development

Dr. Luehrs

Work collaboratively with faculty to help them develop online and blended courses.  Our approach is consultative and our goal is to support each instructor’s vision by providing resources, tools and a fresh perspective.

Serving the nearly 700 faculty of Fort Hays State University, TILT collaborates with offices across campus to design, develop, and deliver relevant support and training. We strive to provide meaningful professional development experiences in four key areas: pedagogy, scholarly research, service, and professional growth.

  • Ongoing Faculty Development activities in the form of 15-minute targeted department meeting sessions, TILTed Tech workshops, or the annual Faculty Development Day.
  • Resources, including videos, asynchronous courses, and the TigerLearn Blog.
  • Consultation Services-- our teaching excellence coordinator or faculty development personnel can assist you one-on-one.
  • New Faculty Support and Training--activities to acclimate to your position and enhance your teaching; attend New Faculty Orientation, Learn and Network Events, or, if you’re a new adjunct, participate in Foundations of Online Teaching.
