Sociology Programs
Sociology will start the evening with a brief overview of the department in a live presentation followed by the remainder of the evening offering the opportunity to answer questions.
Music and Theatre Programs
The Department of Music and Theatre, provides you with tools to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Music. Their program is fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM).
Art & Design Programs
The Art History program aims to provide students with a well-rounded knowledge of art within a historical and cultural framework, as well as the education and experience needed to develop their creative critical-thinking skills.
English Programs
The department of English and Modern Languages will be available throughout the night to take questions and provide students with the opportunity explore the different studies of concentration and career pathways.
Political Science Programs

Join us to explore a cutting-edge curriculum, distinguished faculty, and the skills needed to excel in the dynamic world of politics and beyond. We will be live with presentations about our programs, question and answer session, and representatives from various student clubs will be available to share their student experiences!

Department of Chemistry
Whether you wish to teach, conduct research or enter a professional school, including medical, dental, chiropractic, optometry, podiatry and pharmacy, our chemistry program offers a number of in-depth undergraduate and pre-professional programs that will align with your passions and career interests through our transformative curriculum and program options. Join us for a presentation providing insight into our programs, Q&A session with faculty throughout the night, and students from Chemistry Club talking about their experiences as a chem student at FHSU.
Department of Agriculture
We will be hosting a live Q&A session accompanied with a presentation showcasing how our students have learned how to run a farm to trading grain on the market to steering a boardroom meeting, our alumni all started here with one thing in common: they had the desire. Then, they graduated with another shared bond: the skills and experience to make a positive impact in their careers and communities.
Department of Mathematics
Join us for a presentation along with a Q & A session for Mathematics. Discussion will focus on the different programs offered for mathematicians and math educators as well as career opportunities upon completion.
Department of Computer Science
Join us live where we will host a presentation accompanied by a Q & A session for Computer Science. Earning a degree in computer science will place you in high demand at a variety of federal agencies and private software and technology companies.
Department of Biology
The Department of Biology will host a live powerpoint that highlights the department and a Q&A session. Fort Hays State University Biology Department has something for everyone. We cover everything from the smallest molecules to the largest organism (the Humongous Fungus).
Department of Geosciences
The Department of Geosciences will host a PowerPoint room for self-guided review of the department programs, along with a room for Q&A with faculty, and a student room for Q&A with students and student club. Students who complete the B.S. online (with focus on Geography) or B.A. can simultaneously complete three separate certificates in addition to a Bachelor Degree.

Department of Psychology
Faculty will host two live informational sessions about our major, certificates, and ways that online students can get involved with the department (e.g. apprenticeships, research, clubs/organizations). Presentations will start at ~6:15pm and be offered again at ~7:00pm. Students will have time to ask questions and win some psychology prizes!

I complete free unofficial transcript evaluations, explain the transfer of military training to college credits, and help walk through using Military Tuition Assistance and all forms of VA benefits. I am here to answer any questions you have to help you decide if FHSU is a good fit for you.
FHSU Online – Prize Drawings
Join us live starting at 6:30 pm and every half hour on the hour for a chance to win fantastic prizes including Tiger Gear and multiple scholarships worth up to $1,000! All registered attendees will be entered for a chance to snag a prize and winners will be contacted after the event to receive their award. Any guests who attend the event and complete the follow-up survey (emailed after the event) will be mailed free FHSU Swag!

Student Fiscal Services is responsible for student billing, financial aid release, tuition and housing refunds, as well as assisting departments and student organizations with deposits. The mission of Student Fiscal Services is to provide quality financial and administrative service to all students, parents, faculty and staff, in compliance with federal and State of Kansas regulatory requirements. Our staff will be available to answer your questions throughout the night, in the main room or in a private consultation room.
