Pre-Law Society
The Fort Hays State University Pre-law Society gives anyone interested in a career in law the opportunity to see what the profession is all about. You will get to know your classmates, learn more about legal education and how to have the best possible application to law school, and learn more about what lawyers and judges do in a variety of practice settings. Pre-law Society members regularly visit law schools and local, state, and federal courts. Guest speakers from the profession are invited to meetings to provide real-world advice. Members will also participate in service projects. Generally, the group meets one to two times per month. Please contact the club's faculty advisor, Dr. Wendy Rohleder-Sook, at wrs@fhsu.edu for more information!
Did you know that Pre-Law Society is 2019's Most Improved Organization?
The Pre-Law Society participates not only in regular meetings, but also community outreach programs and field trips. Last October, the Pre-Law Society coordinated Community Day, a fundraising cleaning event that helped various members of the community tidy up their environments and raised money for the club!
The Pre-Law Society is open to all majors and students interested in law. If you're interested in joining the FHSU Pre-Law Society, contact its faculty advisor, Dr. Wendy Rohleder-Sook by email at wrs@fhsu.edu.
