About Chris:
Christopher (“Chris”) Pappas is an Assistant Professor of Law at the American University of Phnom Penh where he teaches Constitutional Law, Legal Research and Writing, and Moot Court. Previously, Chris was a member of the international faculty of Fort Hays State University for twelve years. As a member of the international faculty, Chris taught a variety of political science and law courses at Shenyang Normal University located in Shenyang, China. Chris is also currently a member of the adjunct faculty at Fort Hays State University where he teaches Introduction to Law and develops online courses for Political Science Programs.
Chris obtained his law degree at Vermont Law School and his undergraduate degree from Carnegie-Mellon University.
Prior to joining Fort Hays State University, Chris was a Partner in the international law firm of Watt, Tieder, Hoffar & Fitzgerald based in McLean, Virginia. His practice focused primarily on government contracts and major construction litigation. He is the co-author of a number of publications concerning the preservation and pursuit of payment rights under California and federal law. Chris is a member of the State Bar of California.
