About Craig:
A FHSU Poli Sci 2016 graduate, Craig has diligently served in the state of Kansas through positions with the Public Policy and Management Center (PPMC) at Wichita State University and as Assistant City Administrator for the City of Goddard, KS. Craig was recently hired to serve as the City Manager for the City of Sterling, Kansas. Craig's highest priority has always been to serve his neighbors, Governing Body, and co-workers/teammates. Craig finds value in providing opportunity for the next generation through educational opportunity and professional development. He believes grooming public servants of tomorrow to be a catalyst in securing an intergenerational high quality of life for our neighbors. Craig also serves on many different municipal and regional boards, while also sitting as President for the Kansas Chapter of the American Society for Public Administration (KS-ASPA). His research interests include local government innovation and leadership. Craig instructs courses in public policy, state and local government, and will soon be leading a course related to implications of technology in government. Craig received his masters degree in public administration (MPA) in 2018 with concentrations in city/county management and non-profit management.
