The Student Government Association holds Senate meetings every Thursday night at 7 PM. in the Black and Gold Room of the Memorial Union unless notified otherwise. These meetings are open to the public.
The Big Event is an opportunity for FHSU Tigers to give back to the community that so greatly supports its students throughout the year. Faculty, staff, and students volunteer side by side to make Hays a better place. The Big Event takes place in the spring semester, and will be held April 20, 2024.
Higher Education Day is a day for all schools in the Kansas Board of Regents (KSU, KU, WSU, FHSU, ESU, WSU, PSU) to advocate for students’ rights and interests. This is done by meeting with Legislatures at the Kansas State Capital of Topeka. This day has a direct impact on change in Higher Education and affects all students in the state of Kansas. Higher Education day occurs in the spring semester and the date is to be determined.
