FIN 205 Principles of Personal Finance
Still need to take a Personal and Professional Development general education course? FIN 205 Principles of Personal Finance is the course for you! Principles of Personal Finance is a three-credit hour course that provides an overview of managing your finances throughout your lifetime. Students learn how to create and stick to a budget, the basics of income taxes, insurance, and investing, ways to save for retirement, how to buy a car or a house, interpreting your credit score, the pitfalls of credit cards, and more. FIN 205 is offered Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.
