TigerNetPSK Wi-Fi Registration
Return to Internet / Wireless Information
What is TigerNetPSK and when should you use it?
If your device doesn't support TigerNet's security, you can use an alternative network called TigerNetPSK to get Internet access. This Wi-Fi network uses passwords to connect (like a home network) instead of username/password. Each registered device is given a unique password that cannot be used by any other device.
To access TigerNetPSK, simply register the Wireless MAC address (WLAN) of the device and use the generated password to connect.
- Login to https://cppm.fhsu.edu/guest with your TigerNetID username and password.
- Click the Create button.
- Complete the form. Ensure “Generate unique password (pre-shared key) for this device” remains checked.
- Click Create at the bottom of the form to submit the required information.
- Connect to TigerNetPSK using the password now displayed.
PLEASE NOTE: Each registered device is given a unique password that cannot be used by any other device.
