TigerNetID is a unified username and password authentication system for most Fort Hays State University computing resources.
Everyone is assigned a unique TigerNetID upon admission or employment at FHSU. Your TigerNetID and password are used to access FHSU systems.
TigerNetID FAQ's
For assistance with activating or using your TigerNetID, contact TigerTech.
Follow the directions at www.fhsu.edu/activate.
You only need to type @mail.fhsu.edu (students) or @fhsu.edu (faculty/staff) if you're logging in to Office 365. Microsoft provides accounts for many organizations. If you don't include @fhsu.edu or @mail.fhsu.edu when logging into Office 365, Microsoft doesn't know which organization you belong to.
Other FHSU logins will accept either format. Most FHSU applications will accept both forms of your TigerNetID (with or without @mail.fhsu.edu or @fhsu.edu). In some situations, the @mail.fhsu.edu or @fhsu.edu domain is automatically appended to your username.
You can change your TigerNetID password at any time, but it must be updated at least once every 360 days, as described in the FHSU Information Security Policy (found on the Information Access and Technology Policies page). You will begin receiving reminder emails 30 days prior to your 360-day deadline. Failure to change your password by the deadline will result in the account being locked. To unlock an account, contact TigerTech.
See Manage Your TigerNetID Password instructions.
Note: These instructions only work for people who have previously activated their TigerNetID.
Change your password immediately. Additionally, you should verify no changes have been made to your bank account information, email settings, or Duo authentication methods.
Contact TigerTech if you need assistance with this.
