Brenda Hoopingarner, MS, RT(R), RDMS, RVT
Ms. Hoopingarner began her career at FHSU in 1994. She has served as the Chair of the Allied Health Department since 2003 and holds the rank of Professor. She established the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program in 2002 and serves as the Program Director. Her teaching expertise includes radiology and medical diagnostic imaging but is currently focused within Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
Prior to joining the faculty at FHSU, Brenda worked as a multi-modality technologist, working in radiology, mammography, interventional vascular procedures, CT, nuclear medicine, and sonography from 1988 – 1994. Brenda and her husband reside in Otis, KS and have three sons. She enjoys spending time with her family and their two dogs, Diesel, and Ruger. She also enjoys tackling DIY projects.
