Transportation Options
While students are in the Hays Community, they will want to explore and go places outside of campus. FHSU and the Hays Community are pleased to offer a variety of transportation modes:

Tiger Transport
FREE campus-provided service that transports FHSU students and the general public to Walmart and Big Creek Crossing. This FIXED route follows a set path with pick-up and drop-off points located at the kiosk behind McMindes Hall and across the street from Victor E. Village on campus, as well as at the north entrances of Walmart and the main entrance of Big Creek Crossing.
August to May:
Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday - 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm
June and July:
Friday – 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm
TAXIS
Taxi service in Hays may be different than other communities. Instead of hailing a taxi/cab on the street, you can call to have a taxi pick you up. Prices will vary and tips are appreciated. Follow both services on Facebook for more information.
Convenience Cab:

ACCESS VAN
ACCESS provides on demand transportation in Hays and Ellis County. Service is available on a first request basis. Scheduling rides for the next day must be done by 6 p.m. Individual one-way trip pricing or tickets available.

Many students decide a bicycle is their preferred method of transportation and great for exercise.
