Topics covered range from professional skills to pedagogy and technology. Past topics have included video creation, beginning with OER, and building a professional portfolio.

Annual Professional Development Day

Concurrent workshops on relevant topics in higher education, opportunities to network with other faculty and staff, and panel discussions on best practices in pedagogy, research, and service to the profession.


Online Asynchronous Training Courses

Curatr courses on a growing list of current pedagogical topics, and Blackboard courses to familiarize beginning adjuncts with basic information needed to organize and facilitate courses at FHSU successfully.


15-minute Department Presentations

Short, interactive presentations focusing on specific faculty development needs, delivered directly to individual departments or cooperating departments.
