Learn & Network
Held monthly throughout the academic year and open to all new faculty. Opportunity to connect and learn from campus experts and seasoned faculty. Topics include research, publication, tenure/promotion, course design, instructional technology, advising, library resources, faculty senate, student support services, and more.
New Faculty Orientation
New Faculty Orientation consists of two programs. The first is a three-day, on-campus overview, allowing new faculty a chance to meet colleagues--both new and established--and learn about procedures and resources. The second is an online component that offers clarity and reinforcement on the content presented in on-campus orientation, and delves deeper into both FHSU policy and services.
Peer Consultation Services
Consultation service for faculty looking for guidance. These services are offered by Dr. Robert Leuhrs and include class observations, confidential discussions, and advice on tenure procedures.
