Undergraduate Internships
We have established partnerships with several agencies to provide students with unique internship opportunities. Students will acquire vital hands-on experience in a variety of professional settings, including:
- Ellis County Sheriff’s Office (Criminology and the Justice System)
- Early Childhood Connections (Pre-K program)
- West Central Kansas Special Education Cooperative (Psychological Services with children and adolescents)
- FHSU Health & Wellness Services (Peer Counseling and Mentoring)
The number of seats available for these internships is limited, so students need to apply for an internship placement. See the resources below for more information.

In this video, he will answer questions about the two different internship experiences the department offers, how to apply, examples of different internship sites, and the value of completing an internship as part of your academic journey.
