If you have an FHSU-provided laptop, you must follow these instructions to update its password:
- Windows:
- On campus:
- Reboot your computer so it knows your new password.
- If you see a message saying Windows needs your new credentials, close your programs and reboot right away to avoid temporarily losing access to network shares and other services.
- Off campus:
- Connect to the VPN.
- Lock your computer (Windows key + L)
- Unlock your computer with your new password.
- On campus:
- Mac OS: See Mac password instructions.
If you have a mobile device connected to TigerNet Wi-Fi, you must reconnect the next time you're on campus. This may require manual intervention on some devices.
- FHSU-provided Windows laptops: Your device will ask you to input your username and password. Use your TigerNetID username and new password.
- FHSU-provided Mac laptops and desktops: You may need to follow extra steps to update your password on your Mac. See Mac password instructions.
- Android, iOS, and Windows phones and tablets: See Forget Wi-Fi Network Settings.
