Pay Period for Nine-Month Faculty
Faculty on nine-month academic contracts may elect to be paid on an annualized basis. An "Annualized Salary Agreement" form will be made available to all nine-month employees requesting them. New agreements begin at the start of each academic year.

Visiting Faculty
An individual may be invited to serve as a visiting faculty member at Fort Hays State University for not more than 12 months (including summer session). A visiting Faculty member may be given rank commensurate with the individual's qualifications and the rank as defined as FHSU (e.g., visiting assistant professor). A visiting faculty member may be continued in employment at FHSU as a temporary faculty member.
