Biography:
Dr. Goertzen has been with the Department of Leadership Programs since 2003. In addition to directing the graduate leadership programs, he coordinates the Tiger Leader program, a cohort-based, university-wide leadership development program for FHSU faculty and staff. He has facilitated numerous workshops for the Small Business Development Center, NexTech, and the civilian workforce at Fort Riley, among numerous other non-profit and faith-based organizations.
Dr. Goertzen's areas of expertise include leadership theory, team dynamics and leadership development. He was married to Jill in 2001 and together are raising three young adults: Kiersten, Cameron and Allison. His hobbies include spending time with his family, planning vacations to national parks and woodworking. You are encouraged to ask him about his recent shop projects.
