Rachel Guillot
Rachel Guillot joins us from Salina, Kansas as the VALUE program's first fully-virtual scholar. She is a junior majoring in Organizational Leadership. Rachel joined VALUE to be intentional in her development as a leader; she was intrigued by the idea of spending a year with a mentor and delving deeply into a large project. She also looks forward to the cohort experience and learning from her fellow VALUE scholars. In her free time, she enjoys reading historical mysteries, getting creative in the kitchen, attending plays at her community theatre, traveling, and working on her newly-created non-profit, Be Kind Salina.
Megan Rust
Megan Rust is a sophomore majoring in Organizational Leadership from Leavenworth, Kansas. After receiving her degree, she hopes to become a commissioned missionary with the United Methodist Church. Megan joined the VALUE program to challenge herself academically and as a leader in an environment that would challenge and support her. In her free time, Megan enjoys volunteering with her church, watching British crime shows with her mom, shooting with her dad, and taking pictures of her three beautiful cat babies.
Kaylie Towles
Kaylie Towles, originally from Wichita, Kansas, is a season senior in her fifth year at Fort Hays State University. Majoring in Organizational Leadership, she hopes to work with a non-profit organization; she has a passion for service and always wishes to give back to the community. Kaylie joined the VALUE program to apply the content in her leadership classes and benefit the common good. She has been involved in various organizations and feels the VALUE program will allow her to challenge her skills and leadership styles for the professional world. Because she has a hectic schedule, she makes time to make memories with friends and relax any chance I get. She also loves to craft, sleep, and travel.
Brianne Schuck
Joining Fort Hays State University from Harvard, Nebraska, Brianna Schuck is a senior double-majoring in Organizational Leadership and Biology. Brianna has no definitive career plans now, but she knows she wants to wake up excited to go to work! She joined VALUE to challenge herself and to perform research about leadership on her terms. She sees this as an opportunity to push herself out of her comfort zone and make a change for the common good while impacting those around her positively. In her free time, she enjoys fishing and being outside, spending time with friends and family, watching One Tree Hill, and going to Husker sporting events any chance she gets.
Taylor Hanus
Originally from Salina, Kansas, junior Taylor Hanus is majoring in Organizational Leadership and minoring in psychology and sociology at Fort Hays State University. Taylor joined the VALUE program to try something new and earn her internship credits early potentially. In her free time (after she has completed her homework), she watches Netflix with her friends or listens to her roommate clap along to the theme song of "Friends."
Marisol Regalado
Hailing from Liberal, Kansas, Marisol Regalado is a senior majoring in Organizational Leadership and minoring in Spanish. Upon graduation, she plans to pursue graduate school and work with an international corporation, preferably in Spain. Her ultimate career goal is to work for Google. Marisol joined VALUE to challenge herself to discover what she is truly capable of. Depending on the day, you'll find Marisol watching Gilmore Girls or Grey's Anatomy, spending time with friends and family, or traveling. She also longs to cook much more than she currently does; on the rare occasions she does cook, it's delicious!
