CITI Training
The FHSU Human Subjects Research Institutional Review Board (IRB) and the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) require researchers to complete the CITI ethics training prior to submitting applications for approval or initiation of activities. Some departments, programs or research methods classes require students to complete specific RCR courses (e.g., Health Information Privacy). CITI training has been revised to be compliant with the Revised Common Rule which became effective January 21, 2019.
CITI provides quality research ethics education that is available online, 24/7. There is no cost to FHSU employees and students completing the training. CITI compliance training must be completed every three years.
