2024-2025 Academic Year Move-In Information
Welcome! We are excited to welcome you to campus and to the Tiger Family!

If you do not already have your Tiger Card before move-in day, we will offer a pop-up card station in the Heather Hall Storm Shelter. Remember, you must have a valid photo ID (government issued driver's license, military ID, passport, other state-issued photo ID) to get your Tiger Card. Driving Routes for Move-In
- ** Recommended Route – If you are headed to campus on the By-Pass HWY 183, you will turn in on Gustad Drive at the Gross Memorial Coliseum and make a right onto Dwight Drive. University Police will be directing vehicles at the intersection of Dwight and Lyman Drive.
- If you are headed to campus from the city of Hays, you will come to the traffic light at 8th and Elm St. You will enter campus off of 8th St. and Park St. Follow Park St. to Lyman Dr. University Police will be directing vehicles at the intersection Agnew Ln. and Lyman Dr.
University Police will direct you to your building, so be sure to have your housing assignment ready to go when you pull up to an officer. They will instruct you to park in an unloading zone where you will have a limited time to unload your vehicle and take items to your room. Then someone in your group will need to move the vehicle to designated parking lots.
All of your helpers can stay around and help you unpack, decorate, and settle in, but the vehicle will need to be moved within 30 minutes so that other students can keep unloading their items.
